ANTIBIOTIC INJECTABLE SOLUTION

COMPOSITION
100 ml of the preparation contains the active substance Enrofloxacin – 10.0 g; Additional ingredients.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Enrofloxacin is a chemotherapeutic preparation belonging to the group of fluoroquinolones (derivative quinolone-carboxylic acid). Enrofloxacin shows anti-microbial action by inhibiting the enzymatic action of DNA gyrase, which is a major catalyst for the replication of DNA in a bacterial cell. Inhibition of DNA gyrase action leads to function disorders, blocking the biosynthesis in the cell and destruction of the pathogen. The result is a rapid bactericidal effect. Enrofloxacin is effective against different types of microorganisms: Mycoplasmaspp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., Campylobacter spp., Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordetella spp., Klebsiella spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus spp., Erysipelothrixrhusiopathiae, Proteus spp., Vibrio Parahaemolyticum, Staphylococcus Aureus.

ADMINISTRATION
Treatment of Bovine, Sheep, and Goats with Respiratory and Digestive tract diseases, caused by micro-organisms’ susception to Enrofloxacin.

ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGES

If the dose volume exceeds 5 ml for adult Cattle and 2.5 ml for Cattle youngsters, it should be divided and administered into different injection sites.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat – in 7 days after the last treatment. Milk for human consumption is allowed in 4 days after the last treatment. Meat and milk received before this period should be disposed of or fed to non-producing animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.

SHELF LIFE
24 months. After first opening – 14 days if kept in a dark place at +5 to +25° С.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in dry, dark places, out of the reach of children, at +5 to +25° С.
